In this position you will be responsible for Titleist Golf Gear product management inclusive of profiling golfer segments by market, oversee research product performance and style expectations, and manage creation of 3-Year Worldwide Golf Gear Product Strategy. Deliver a sustainable and profitable revenue stream across the Golf Gear categories. This role will work cross-functionally to manage Design, Development, Operations, Sales and Marketing inputs to ensure successful global product launches. Ensure Titleist Golf Gear is established as the product leader in Golf headwear, head-covers, gloves, towels, tournament and D2C.
Drive seasonal and collection product line strategies, line plans and category/product briefs. Incorporates market wholesale and retail actionable pricing strategies. Use market, sales channel and competitive product analysis to manage development of actionable products and merchandising strategies. Manage against the global golf gear product creation calendar to meet milestones and oversee preparation of research and briefs. Manage feedback and confirmation processes for category collections and products to global markets. Oversee development of and engage 3rd party golfer research for psychographic and demographic segmentation, product demands, performance and improvements focused on Korea, Japan, UK, Canada and US. Develop and execute a robust product insights research plan on a global basis. Plan and execute the insights plan for the US in coordination that is leveraged as a model for all other markets and delivered against the 5 key markets of US, UK, Korea, Japan. Dedicated golfer research should include psychographic and demographic segmentation, product demands and performance and improvements on a category basis. Coordinate and communicate with global market representatives for seasonal line presentation that includes product research, strategy, and business goals. Use market, sales channel and competitive product analysis to manage development of actionable products and merchandising strategies. Partner with Designers, Developers and vendors to commercialize the best in class product. Communicate and manage sourcing and operations processes to deliver sales samples and retail inventory on time.
The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree with strong academic rigor and results. Minimum 7 years in Product Management/product creation team role in consumer products and/or sports (golf a plus). In-market product management experience. The candidate should possess golf/competitive knowledge of top 5 golf markets (Korea, Japan, UK, Canada, USA) and strong business planning skills, demonstrated leadership in motivating international teams, excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional time management. Ability to travel within the US and Internationally. Must be available on off-hours to communicate with ex-US markets. This candidate will need to have extreme attention to detail, be exceptionally organized, and have excellent written/verbal communication skills. Must be highly proficient with PowerPoint, Word & Microsoft Excel.
