- Salary Range: $42,000 - $50,000
- Hours: 11:00pm-7:00am
Analyze and investigate press cycle issues to determine root cause. Escalate to maintenance and make recommendations to shutdown equipment when necessary. Conduct concentricity testing sampling on balls, cases, cups and cores. Investigate and resolve cosmetic and physical property issues by analyzing product and process data. Conduct gauge round robins (calibration) to include analysis of data, adjustment of gauges, and validation of adjustments through further data analysis. Cover Process Auditor absences. Cover Physical Tester absences. Complete other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree a plus.
Experience: Two years of prior experience testing golf balls and ball components required. Must have prior experience analyzing and investigating press cycle issues. Experience with the golf ball manufacturing process a plus. Must understand press profiles and how pressure and temperature function in a press.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interact with all levels of the Golf Ball Manufacturing Team. Must have QAS system experience. Must be capable of passing the standards test with an 80% or greater score. Must be capable of interpreting data and making a case.
