To provide End User Computing with a technical resource that will provide in-depth technical support in the areas of desktop, laptop, and mobile device management. Provides first and second level support responding to service requests, and problem tickets. Install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, wireless equipment and related hardware and software in order to deliver required service levels. Help maintain systems owned by the End User Computing team. Work with vendors and assist with setting the standards of the computing and mobile hardware environment. Document resolutions to computing problems by performing independent judgment and on site analysis. Works closely with team members to diagnose, configure, install, and upgrade software and hardware to support the PC, and mobile computing environments. Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible by all staff members. Other Duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required. Experience: 2-4 years’ experience in IT End User Computing environment is required, which must include excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be a strong team player, and have experience working with and supporting users at all levels of an organization. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to independently and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Self-directed and able to take initiative, available to provide 24X7 support as required. Able to work as a team player in a collaborative environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient knowledge of desktop hardware, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, mobile devices, PC imaging and deployment. Must be able to lift personal computers, monitors, printers and other desktop equipment. Strong customer services and problem-solving skills required.
