Develop, drive and evolve a robust Sales & Operations Strategic Planning process and analysis that will drive executional excellence throughout our global gear business and ensure cross functional alignment in our business strategy. Responsible for Strategic Business Planning analysis for the Gear leadership team. Implements best practices tools and trendsetting strategy to deliver financial and business planning accuracy across Revenues, Gross Margin, Units and Average Net Sell Price. Work with the senior leadership team to analyze and assist collaborating relevant data across the various departments in attendance to assist business evaluation and planning on a 3 year, annual, quarterly and monthly basis. Responsible for Sales & Operations Analysis process across all levels of Gear organization (including senior leadership team), collaborating data across the various departments in attendance. The goals of which is to balance supply and demand, focusing on future forecasts, capacity, and the risks and opportunities of the demand and inventory plans. Deliver insights that that will drive decision making across Service, Demand, Financial, Buy, & Liquidation Strategies Responsible to analyze and identify demand / supply mismatches and recommend corrective actions to ensure delivery performance for all Gear products. Develop/Prepare on a daily/monthly basis key management reports to support the Gear Leadership team, i.e. Product Profitability, Channel Planning, Sales Program Analysis Opportunity Buy, Red Yellow Green Reports, Obsolescence & Slow Moving Inventory Analysis. WW Business Review Reporting: Provide a monthly summary of each region’s MM Forecast to Gear Leadership team. Detailed summary will include MM volumes vs forecast/BP/prior month, inventory and marketplace updates. Include analysis of sales/forecast vs business plan and prior year volumes. US Sell-In and Sell-Through and Ad Hoc Sales Reporting: Provide Gear leadership group with a monthly report that utilizes Datatech, NGF & SPS Commerce US sell-through data. Create report and provide an analysis/summary that hi-lights the most important aspects of the monthly data set. WW Market Size Overview Reporting: Establish & Maintain US Gear Market size file. Track market size and provide summaries key findings to Gear Leadership. Work with each region to ensure the accurate and timely submission of data for the semi-annual WW Market Overview analysis. Summarize, Analyze & Submit to Gear Leadership team.
Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Finance focus and MBA preferred. 5-7 years of Financial / Supply Chain analytics / reporting experience showing increasing level of responsibility. Focus areas of financial analysis, strategic planning as well as Sales, Product, Logistics, Customer Service, Info & Analytics required. Cross-functional product experience with R&D, Sales and Operations preferred. Strong Ad-Hoc reporting experience with the knowledge of the logic behind it is required. Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel, Cognos 10 Report Studio and Workspace Advanced highly desired. Intermediate to Advanced skill set in Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint. Previous Golf, Customer Service, and/or Sales experience is highly preferred. Qlikview / Tableau experience a strong plus. Financial analysis and reporting experience a must. Strong information and presentation skills that will enable timely, effective and scalable insights that will influence Strategic Business Decision execution and decision making. Ability to write reports in Cognos required. Knowledge of workflow analysis, flow charting, and info-mapping procedures. Must have excellent organizational skills as well as verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain knowledge of confidential information such as product launches and costing. Must possess exceptional technical skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new and emerging programs/software. Ability to plan, coordinate and execute product changes. Strong knowledge of ERP (Lawson Infor M3 / Cognos preferred) principles, practices and procedures. Must possess exceptional technical skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new and emerging programs/software.
