The social media specialist will maintain and grow the Titleist community across our social networks. They will create social marketing campaigns, build brand recognition, engage influencers and manage all published brand content, while working with analytics tools to track campaign progress and research industry trends. A successful social media specialist will collaborate with digital, category, PR, and legal teams to align brand & category messages, product promotions and content. Manage the planning, development and execution of brand and category programs for the Titleist social channels including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, etc. Translate brand and product category digital marketing plans into executable social media plans. Provide content management, planning, creation and publishing in support of approved category digital marketing plans. Foster engagement and provide community management of overall fan base, brand ambassadors and industry influencers. Plan, execute and facilitate influencer programs and partnerships across all categories. Manage and optimize performance driven paid social media campaigns across all prominent social platforms. Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data, report on customer needs and research best ways to increase social KPIs. Provide real-time, in the moment social content creation. Provide live event social media coverage, interact with tour players and provide content during key events throughout the year. Evaluate new social platforms, technologies and trends in order to keep Titleist content relevant and engaging to our audience.
BA in Digital Communications. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Social Media role is required. Ability to create engaging content for social platforms and blogs based on brand and category guidelines. Experience running paid social media that generates a positive ROI. Skilled at using social media content management platforms. Excellent communication skills and a talented digital copywriter. Must be able to understand, talk and write in the golf industry insider voice. Direct golf experience, thorough insider and industry golf knowledge and golf equipment knowledge is required. Experience using analytics tools to report on social media performance and how these relate to broader business goals. Always testing what works best for our golfer community while staying current on all social platform tools and technology. Strong project management, planning, communication and time management skills in a marketing role. Ability to travel frequently throughout the year. Ability to provide always on social content or messaging during key golf events and tournaments including on weekends. Understanding of SEO best practices and how it’s impacted by social content and linking strategies. Must be a team player with the ability to think strategically and creatively within a highly collaborative environment.
