ERP System Product Configuration Analyst (Lawson Infor M3): Vista, CA.
Configure ERP (Infor M3 / “AGS”) system templates for all Titleist Gear products. Create both audit and operational reports as requested by business owners. Configure templates for all finished goods SKUs for Titleist Gear products worldwide. Ensure accuracy in product pricing, product costing, internal work orders and/or external purchase orders. Monitor daily audit reports and AGS Issue Logs and analyze/troubleshoot problems using a combination of tools to include SQL and Cognos. Correct configurations as needed and test to ensure functionality. Work with other departments as required to resolve configuration issues. Maintain a shared product launch database that coordinates the efforts of all departments and offers information about each product. Establish and document Product Life Cycle (PLC) procedures that meet the needs of the business and conform to requirements. Ensure consistency between different product lines when allowable. Understand global requirements of each subsidiary for manufacturing, purchasing, and distribution; ensuring their needs are met. Work with the Sales team to coordinate pre-launch shipments for sales meetings, rep samples, media samples, etc. Document and archive configuration processes (including templates) to facilitate system use by current and future users. Create detailed reports and dashboards as requested by business owners.

Acushnet Company, home to Titleist and FootJoy the leading brands in golf, has an exciting opportunity for a Category Manager (Senior Buyer). In this role, the incumbent will have primary management responsibility for the support of all sourcing, purchasing, category and supplier management activities for assigned categories in such areas as maintenance, repair, capital equipment, operating supplies, etc. required to support a multi-plant manufacturing operation. The Senior Buyer is charged with deploying effective and efficient execution of procurement and sourcing plans that are aligned with the strategic objectives of the business both globally and regionally, through a consultative approach with business management and key players in Operations teams. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for an annual spend of up to $30MM.
Develop, implement and execute assigned category strategies. This involves but is not limited to developing a set of measurable actions and targets with focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Provide category expertise to internal stakeholders and function as a liaison to Manufacturing and Operations functions for assigned categories. Lead and develop cross functional strategic sourcing teams to address specific opportunities. Direct development and negotiation of agreements with key suppliers. Place orders for materials and services in the assigned categories in an efficient and timely manner. Oversee all activities related to procurement of material, from intent to purchase through delivery. Manage key strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness with focus on TCO. Conduct timely reviews with suppliers to measure performance against contractual standards and performance expectations. Analyze risk relating to supplier vulnerability, sourcing options and material. Analyze business requirements, demand patterns, market dynamics, supplier economics, etc. Identifying elements of category strategy with regional / local leverage potential. Align category targets, identify category "challenges" and manage appropriate solutions. Measure results against defined targets. Responsible for supplier selection and negotiation process for both regional and national suppliers. Prepare, analyze and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements. In this position the incumbent will be responsible for directing the activities of Advanced Engineering to identify and implement new technologies and processes to be used in golf ball manufacturing. You will work with R & D to develop short and long term objectives and projects in the design of new processes and equipment for high volume manufacture, new golf ball construction, new materials and equipment design for prototype ball development. You will oversee Engineering Technology Center operations directing development of Tech Center machining technologies to support R & D aerodynamic research and precision tooling manufacturing. You will insure protection of intellectual property, new proprietary process and obtain necessary patent protection. You will also be responsible for establishing department expense and capital project budgets and development of appropriate project controls.
Electrical-Mechanical Specialist: New Bedford, MA

In this position the incumbent will be primarily responsible to perform a wide variety of tasks including Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Repair of complex Computer or PLC controlled manufacturing equipment. Equipment includes electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical subsystems. Use equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters oscilloscopes, micrometers, thickness gauges, and power tools to trouble shoot and repair equipment. Assist team members as needs and issues arise. Originate and fill out Maintenance Work Orders in a timely manner, including problem statement, corrective actions, parts used, and hours charged. Close Work Orders when work is completed. Perform other related duties as assigned.
SR Tax Accountant: Fairhaven, MA
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Accounting, the Senior Tax Accountant will be an integral member of the Acushnet Company tax department with a focus on accounting for income taxes, corporate tax compliance and tax risk management. Prepare interim and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 (FAS 109) and IAS 12. Reconcile global tax accounts and related analyses (income taxes payable, FIN 48, and deferred tax accounts). Identify and analyze changes in tax laws to determine impact to Company. Ensure tax rate changes are accurately reflected in Company's tax accounting (e.g., changes to deferred items). Review the local countries quarterly and annual tax reporting used in the preparation of the US GAAP and IFRS global income tax provision. Assist with the preparation of the consolidated tax footnote and other tax disclosures. Actively participate as a member of team responsible for implementing and/or utilizing tax technology software solutions for accounting for income taxes, income tax compliance, and other tax functions. Assist with the financial audit by external auditors. Proactively identify process improvements, implement changes and ensure best practices. Support companywide ERP implementation. Perform research and assist with special projects, as needed.
