Associate Sales Representative National Accounts / Golf Club: San Diego/Orange County, Dallas & NY/NJ Metro Area (3 Positions)
The main objective of this field sales position is to increase Titleist clubs sales and service levels at the National Account locations within an assigned geographic market. The Associate Sales Representative is expected to achieve the desired sales goals by product category established by the Company and serve as the primary point of contact for National Account store personnel in their assigned territory. They are directly responsible for increasing Titleist club sell-through and elevating service levels to serious golfers within their assigned account base. This will be accomplished through the following areas: Product Training and Education, building Sales Associate & Store Management advocacy toward the Titleist brand and product line, In-store merchandising & product positioning, maintaining the Titleist Fitting & Trial tools, monitoring and assessing inventory levels, making inventory recommendations based on sell-through rates and sales associate feedback, retail floor sales and organizing/conducting in-store consumer events. While the core focus of this position is Titleist clubs, the Associate Sales Representative is also responsible for regular maintenance of the Titleist golf ball merchandising presentation during each sales call. Occasional support of Non-national Account Titleist events, such as large Trial events or Tournaments, in the area will also be part of this position. Position will have direct responsibility for increasing Titleist club sales at assigned National Account locations and achieving the assigned overall territory growth goal. Position must also achieve individual product line sales objectives as assigned by Titleist Sales Management, to achieve total company objectives. Work with the individual store managers to secure inventory replenishment and additional stock purchase orders. Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with store sales associate and store management. Build understanding and belief in Titleist products with store personnel. Create advocates and promoters of the Titleist brand. Work with store management and Titleist HQ to organize and conduct a variety of consumer events aimed at the target golfer audience. This includes Fitting Days, Product Launch Events, Vokey Experiences and Cameron Experiences. Inventory Assessments & Communication back to Titleist HQ. Monitor and assess store inventory levels on each sales call. Compare existing inventory to agreed upon inventory par levels. Make product fill-in recommendations based on current levels, sell-through rates and sales associate feedback to Titleist HQ or the local Titleist Sales Rep, depending on the customer's purchasing model. Merchandising & Product Positioning - Club & Ball: Merchandise and maintain Titleist products including displays and other in-store graphics & promotional materials ensuring aesthetics and prominent placement. Check the Titleist Fitting Cart, fitting tools and trial product assortment on each sales call. Organize and merchandise the tools properly where necessary. Report to Titleist HQ or the local Titleist Sales Rep any missing fitting tools from the matrix. Working the retail sales floor, interacting with consumers and selling product particularly on busy days/times of the week and during and product launch periods or events. Responsible for training store sales associates on all products in the Titleist club line. This includes both during the product pre-launch period as well as ongoing education during the product life cycle. Training includes both product education and custom fitting methods. From to time time, support the local Titleist Sales Representative(s) with a significant consumer event or other key objective outside the assigned National account territory base. Provide support where necessary to assist in the local Titleist Sales Representative(s) achieving sales goals as well.

Manager Distribution Operations: Fairhaven
Acushnet Company, home to the leading brands in golf (Titleist and FootJoy) has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Distribution Operations. In this position the incumbent will be primarily responsible for providing leadership to team leads and associates in multiple departments involved in receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and returns operations. Insure continuous performance improvement as measured by key business metrics (on time shipping, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, production efficiency, cost per unit/line shipped) while promoting and insuring teamwork and safety. Execute performance improvement projects involving process, equipment, system, and facility modifications necessary to support continuous improvement program. Coach and develop subordinate team leads and lead associates. Plan monthly labor requirements and execute staffing plans necessary to hit monthly volume targets while staying within budget for labor/overtime/temps. Coordinate distribution activities with other departments and vendors. Manage seasonal/specialty offsite storage/processing facilities as required. Provide leadership to department team leads and area coordinators. Set performance goals, measure actual performance, provide regular, periodic feedback, and hold subordinates accountable for performance. Coach/train subordinate leaders on new/revised processes/systems and insure performance standards are set and obtained after training period is complete. Manage daily facility workload. Conduct daily status meetings with subordinate leaders to review workload and apportion resources as necessary to hit shipping/customer service targets. Provide leadership in prioritizing competing work requirements and assist in resolving any obstacles to production targets with other departments or service vendors. Insure work priorities are communicated between shifts/departments. Lead the facility safety program. Plan and execute monthly safety team meetings. Coordinate monthly facility walk-through inspections. Document and follow up on all open action items generated by the safety committee. Coordinate all required safety training for associates by providing direction to department team leads and following up to insure compliance with training plan. Investigate and recommend improvements to work processes and equipment that will continue to reduce injury risk. Insure all required safety documentation is kept up to date and in compliance with the company safety program. Communicate corporate/facility policies to the workforce and provide associates with regular updates on performance. Coordinate and execute a monthly communication meeting providing updates on company performance, facility safety, and other key performance metrics. Insure associate questions are captured and provide timely responses to any questions raised. Provide regular weekly updates to associates on upcoming events and planned periods of overtime work. Oversee consolidated returns activities for Footjoy and Titliest branded products. Establish, monitor, and improve customer service standards for returns crediting, reconditioning, and return to stock activities. Insure all returns activities impacting financial inventory are audited for accuracy and timeliness. Seek and implement continuous improvement opportunities for returns processing. Coordinate all rework/special projects activities within the distribution center. Insure resources are adequately allocated for efficient execution of Value Added Services, repackaging, in-stock quality inspections, and any other activity impacting stock availability for shipment. Coordinate needed resources (labor, materials, space, equipment) necessary to complete rework/special projects. Oversee outbound order processing activities for FootJoy and Titleist branded products. Establish, monitor, and improve customer service standards for replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. Insure all shipment activities meet/exceed standards for accuracy and timeliness. Seek and implement continuous improvement opportunities for order processing. Manage department expenses by creating/reviewing purchase requisitions and insuring expenses are kept within operational budget guidelines. Review and approve vendor invoices, insuring pricing, quantity, and billed items are in line with purchase agreements. Identify and escalate any expenses with potential to exceed department budget. Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses as required. Organize shipments and source transportation assets necessary to complete transfers in accordance with planning team guidance.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Accounting, the Senior Tax Accountant will be an integral member of the Acushnet Company tax department with a focus on accounting for income taxes, corporate tax compliance and tax risk management. Prepare interim and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 (FAS 109) and IAS 12. Reconcile global tax accounts and related analyses (income taxes payable, FIN 48, and deferred tax accounts). Identify and analyze changes in tax laws to determine impact to Company.
