Sr. Procurement/Inventory Specialist*: New Bedford, MA

The Senior Procurement/Inventory Specialist position is a key role within the strategic plan for the Acushnet Supply Chain. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Acushnet raw materials supply chain.
Execute the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) and take appropriate action ordering materials, establishing delivery dates, and ensuring on time delivery from suppliers. Ensure that sufficient materials are available to support forecasted demand, and to minimize the impact of any material shortages. Proactively resolve material shortages, establish delivery schedules, and expedite as required to maximize service and on-time delivery. Interface with master scheduler and shop operations team to minimize past dues. Own and actively manage material inventories for assigned materials within target levels, including determining safety stock settings, standard order sizes, order frequency and other associated master data. Maintain strong working relationships and communications directly with the Acushnet Supply Chain, Ball Plants II and III and suppliers to confirm production / shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders. Interface directly with suppliers to monitor their service and support. Manage supplier lead time to meet and exceed business goals. Work closely with Quality and notify applicable suppliers for Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and insure suppliers have the most current specification versions as needed. Resolve quality issues, obtaining return goods authorizations when required. Inventory Management: Days of Supply (DOS) reporting, inventory parameters, reduction and reserve percentage measurements, revaluation, Product Life Cycle management; measure related Key Productivity Indicators (KPI's). Develop and maintain database of raw material pricing, analyzing price trends, create reports and provide information to department management. Monitor existing and potential Excess & Obsolete inventory and makes recommendation for possible usage or disposal. Responsible for the product development of all softgoods in the Scotty Cameron product line. Collaborates in design elements of new products with the Scotty Cameron Accessories Manager. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Accounting, the Senior Tax Accountant will be an integral member of the Acushnet Company tax department with a focus on accounting for income taxes, corporate tax compliance and tax risk management. Prepare interim and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 (FAS 109) and IAS 12. Reconcile global tax accounts and related analyses (income taxes payable, FIN 48, and deferred tax accounts). Identify and analyze changes in tax laws to determine impact to Company.
