Report on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis all fixed asset activity, including: construction in progress activity, capitalized asset activity, disposals, and depreciation.  Coordinate project approvals, by working with managers and purchasers to ensure projects contain proper approvals, have been set up correctly in the project management system, and that spending is within budget.  Record monthly journal entries to depreciate assets in the general ledger. Maintain tax tables as well, and communicate variances between book and tax to the appropriate tax accountant.  Assist the Finance Department at each month end by creating and entering other journal entries and account analysis.  Complete additional projects as required, including depreciation projections, various year end 10K schedules, lease analysis, and quarterly fixed asset audits of Acushnet Company facilities.]]></description>
