COVID-19 Relief Charity Golf Auction

MESSAGE FROM DAVID MAHER

As we are all experiencing, there is almost nothing familiar about our current circumstances. Yet every day we are reminded of the energy, resourcefulness and resilience of the talented and caring Acushnet team and our partners around the world who are striving to make a difference in the face of this crisis.

Amid many unexpected challenges, we find resolve in our Company’s long history of overcoming adversity and difficult times, and this helps us to envision the better days that lie ahead.

As a leader in the golf industry and the communities in which we live and work, Acushnet is committed to making a positive impact as we navigate our way through this crisis. Today, as part of our Acushnet Cares initiative, we are pleased to launch the COVID-19 RELIEF CHARITY GOLF AUCTION, featuring a dozen once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the passionate golfer. The week-long auction closes on April 30, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the CDP COVID-19 Response Fund; the United Way of Greater New Bedford and San Diego County; and, following the lead of the PGA of America, and other golf organizations, the Golf Emergency Relief Fund.

We are grateful for the contributions and support from our loyal brand ambassadors that allow us to drive these efforts to make a difference at this time when it is most needed.

In addition to this auction and as part of our Acushnet Cares initiative, our team has also activated the following during the past weeks:

  • Donated more than 100,000 face masks, as well as other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies, to local hospitals and those in need in the communities in which we operate.
  • Retrofitted processes in our Massachusetts manufacturing facilities to produce PPE items and components, including protective face shields and mask straps.
  • Donated 15% of all proceeds from Titleist.com, FootJoy.com, ScottyCameron.com, Vokey.com and Kjus.com to the CDP COVID-19 Response Fund.
  • Committed to Rain Suits for Responders, a program to collect new or gently used golf rain suits for healthcare workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus battle.
